Basic Fuckin Chili
Basic Chili Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 12oz can of tomatoes
- 1 6oz can of tomato puree
- 1 12oz can of kidney beans
- 1 12oz can of black beans
- 1 bulb of garlic
- 1.5 pounds lean beef (or a little more for awesome protein)
- 1 large white onion
Seasonings:
- Chili powder
- Cumin
- Salt
- Pepper
- Paprika
You can also substitute the beef for turkey and it will be okay, no one will judge you besides me.
Instructions:
Step 1:
- Dice the white onion and prepare the garlic.
- Sautee the onion and garlic with oil/butter for about 5 minutes or until you can smell the garlic PUNGENTLY.
- Add the meat to the pot and cook until it’s brown. Use medium heat and season the beef if seasoning is desired.
Step 2:
- Add tomato puree and some water to the pot (measurements are not specified).
- Mix the concoction until it’s consistent.
- Add the can of tomatoes.
- Add about ⅔’s of each can of beans, discard the rest.
Step 3:
- Turn up the heat to bring the mixture to a boil.
- While heating, add salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, and paprika to taste. Use more chili powder and cumin than you think you need.
- Boil for 30 minutes, then remove from heat.
Step 4:
- Add cheese, sour cream, or whatever u want to it, it is your life, not mine.
- Eat.
